PeopleSoft ERP Project Management Consultant
Project Description: Provide consultation and project management for developing and implementing a global PeopleSoft eProcurement platform. Related modules implemented are Inventory, Contract Management, Asset Management and punch-out catalogs. Platform integrated fully with NYU New York based ERP General Ledger system and infrastructure.
Instrumental in business process reengineering of various administrative functions; vendor invoicing, employee reimbursement workflow, global travel process, and IT project delivery methodologies. Represent the NYU Program Services Office (PSO) in promoting best practices in program and portfolio management, business process mapping and PMI methodologies.
- Managed the definition, design, build and deployment of a major ERP PeopleSoft platform in just three months during the summer which included Ramadan season
- Successfully engaged and managed the offshore vendor team despite an almost fatal lack of leadership and a turnover of three vendor project managers
- Successfully collaborated with the NYU IT and financial applications support (FISAPPS) departments in New York to integrate the eProcurement build and delivery onto the global PeopleSoft platform and support structure
